The New Jersey Special Investigators Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization formed to unite insurance fraud investigators for their mutual benefit.

The Association monitors trends affecting the industry and shares technical information with the insurance industry and with law enforcement and regulatory agencies. The Association also acts as an industry liaison with related organizations.

Through the NJSIA Education Foundation, Inc. the NJSIA has undertaken the mission of educating insurance fraud investigators and law enforcement personnel in fraud awareness, investigatory techniques, trends in the industry, and recent developments in the law relating to insurance fraud. The NJSIA Education Foundation, Inc. sponsors an annual day and a half insurance fraud seminar that is attended by over 700 persons representing insurance companies, regulatory bodies and law enforcement agencies from the northeastern United States.

The NJSIA conducts general membership meetings on a quarterly basis.

A 16-person Board of Directors governs the NJSIA. The Association has more than 350 members..
